Orchid Care Tips – Keep Your Blooms Thriving
Orchids are easier to care for than many people think. With just a few simple steps, your plant can bloom beautifully for months and even rebloom year after year.
Light: Place your orchid in bright, indirect sunlight. East-facing windows are ideal, but a south or west window with filtered light works well too.
Water: Water once a week, allowing the potting medium to dry slightly between waterings. Avoid letting water sit in the bottom of the pot to prevent root rot.
Humidity: Orchids enjoy moderate humidity. You can increase it by placing a tray of pebbles with water under the pot (without letting the roots sit in water).
