Air Plant Care Tips
Watering

Once per week, soak your air plant in room temperature water for 20–30 minutes.

After soaking, gently shake off excess water and place the plant upside down to dry fully within 4 hours.

In drier months or with heat/AC running, mist lightly 1–2 times per week in addition to soaking.
Avoid rot: Never let water collect at the base of the plant, especially for Xerographica or sea urchin shell displays.
Light

Place your air plant near bright, indirect sunlight (an east or west window is ideal).

Artificial light is okay if it’s full-spectrum fluorescent or LED and stays on for at least 12 hours/day.
Air Circulation

Keep plants in 50–90°F (10–32°C). Bring them inside if outdoor temps drop below 45°F.
